Workshop

ALL WORKSHOPS ARE BOOKED. Ticket sales have concluded.

All workshops include approximately 2.5 hours of hands-on learning with our pastry chefs. Along with tips and tricks of the trade, you will take home three – 4 inch tarts to enjoy!

In this class, you will learn to master the components of making beautiful artisan tarts! The fundamentals of tart making can also help in crafting pies, quiches and other baked goods. You will be learning how to make and shape a classic pate sucree dough, learn about par-baking and blind-baking, make a classic versatile pastry cream, Swiss meringue and much more!

While it is best to take the class with a friend, feel free to come solo with a willingness to share your station with another student and work one on one with them as you will be making the recipe together! Students will be placed into groups of two, share the same mixer and stove top and be working TOGETHER as a pair to mix recipes. We also have tables large enough for groups of 3 to work together. Please email us if you would like to work at the same station with someone that bought their ticket separately.

This class is open to all over the age of 14. No prior baking experience is required as we will teach all techniques, however this is more advanced than a cupcake class! You will be using skilled techniques throughout the class. Remember, baking takes practice and hard work over time.  You will leave the class with delicious tarts and the knowledge to continue to hone your baking craft at home!
