All About Quiche & Savory Tarts
Master the art of flaky pastry and savory custards in this hands-on class dedicated to quiche and rustic tarts. In this workshop, you’ll make your own pâte brisée from scratch and transform it into elegant individual quiches, bite-sized tartlets, and a beautiful seasonal vegetable galette.
How the class works:
We’ll begin by mixing and rolling buttery pâte brisée, learning the key techniques that create a tender, flaky crust. You’ll prepare a classic quiche custard and assemble two individual hand-crimped quiches, practicing proper filling ratios, decorative edges, and professional finishing.
Next, we’ll shape mini bite-size party quiche tartlets — perfect for entertaining — and work together to create rustic vegetable galettes, focusing on balanced layering and free-form pastry shaping.
Throughout class, you’ll build confidence in pastry handling, blind baking, custard consistency, and savory flavor pairing.
What you’ll take home:
Two individual hand-crimped quiches, a selection of mini quiche tartlets, and a portion of the seasonal vegetable galette (shared with your partner) — ready to bake, serve, or enjoy at home.
