Lattice Apple Pie Workshop

Celebrate fall while learning the techniques behind a beautiful, classic lattice apple pie. In this hands-on workshop, we’ll walk through the process of building a pie from start to finish, with a focus on proper pie dough handling and creating a beautiful woven lattice top.

You’ll learn how to roll and handle pie dough, prepare and properly thicken an apple filling, assemble your pie, weave a classic lattice crust and finish it for baking at home. We will also discuss baking times and temperatures and sample a perfectly baked apple pie.

You’ll take home:
Your own full-size lattice apple pie to bake at home, along with the recipe and techniques to recreate it at home.

Our Workshops are technique-focused, educational classes designed for guests who want a deeper understanding of baking. Expect hands-on instruction, demonstrations and discussion of the “why” behind each step. Workshops typically run longer than our Social classes and focus heavily on building skills you can use again at home.
