Join us for a hands-on baking class where you’ll learn to make delicious quiche, tender scones, and perfectly spiced coffee cake—just in time for brunch! Whether you’re a beginner or a seasoned baker, this class will leave you with the skills (and recipes) to impress at your next gathering.We’ll shape, roll, fill, and bake (and yes—taste!) our way through the morning, while picking up essential techniques for building flavor, working with dough, and creating show-stopping breakfast treats.
How the class works: Each pair makes pâte brisée for quiche, then rotates through scone and coffee cake production. At the end, bakes are divided so everyone leaves with a sampler.
What you’ll take home: A box filled with your fresh brunch assortment — quiche, scones, and coffee cake.
Must Know Before Class: Classes are held at The Bake Studio at May’s Parlor (3497 Holland Rd, Suite 102, Virginia Beach). Please arrive 10–15 minutes early — classes begin promptly, and late arrivals may miss hands-on portions. Closed-toe shoes are required, and comfortable clothing is recommended (aprons provided). Our classes take place in a real working commercial bakery, so participants will sign a quick waiver upon arrival. We recommend having a snack or meal beforehand, as classes are focused on baking and food service is not provided. Need to sit with a friend booked separately?
